Apple Butter
24 cups of apple pulp
(that I put through a food mill)
8 cups sugar
2 Tbs. allspice
2 Tbs. cinnamon
2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. nutmeg
Cook in 325° oven.
Stir every once in awhile until it
is like butter. This takes many hours.
Sometimes I just shut the oven off
and go to bed and it’s just right in the
morning!
