Onion Dill Bread
From Shirlin
1 pkg. yeast
3 -1/3 cups flour
¼ tsp. baking soda
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1 unbeaten egg (room temp)
Mix the following together and add:
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup cottage cheese
3/4 cup sour cream
3 Tbs. sugar
3 Tbs. minced dried onion
2 Tbs. whole dill seed
1- 1/2 Tbs. butter
Do this in your machine or like I do: Knead, let rise and put in 2 loaf pans and bake as any bread – which is 350° for 25 to 35 minutes depending on your oven.
