Taco Soup

 

1 lbs.  Ground beef

1 clove garlic, minced (optional)

onion, chopped

8 oz. can tomato sauce

4 oz. can diced green chilies

15 oz. can chili beans

4.5 oz. can chopped black olives

15 oz. can corn (or extra sweet frozen corn thawed)

14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes

1 pkg. Taco seasoning

3 c. chicken broth

 

Brown meat.  Add remaining ingredients and simmer at least 30 minutes.  Serve with toppings and warm cornbread or tortillas.

 

Toppings:

Crushed tortilla chips

Shredded cheese

Sour Cream

Avocado

Chopped green onion

Shredded lettuce
